Kingdom Seed Publishing (“Kingdom Seed Publishing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit kingdomseedpublishing.com and any related pages, forms, or services (collectively, the “Site”), how we use and share that information, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Kingdom Seed Publishing is a children’s book publisher based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Kingdom Seed Publishing is the “controller” (or “business”) responsible for your personal information collected through the Site. You can reach us at any time at hello@kingdomseedpublishing.com.
We collect information you choose to provide directly, including when you sign up for our newsletter, request a free downloadable gift, or contact us. This may include:
We do not process payments on this Site. Purchases of our books are completed through third-party retailers such as Amazon, which handle your payment and order information under their own privacy policies.
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including:
Cookies are small text files placed on your device; pixels (also called tags or web beacons) are small pieces of code that help measure activity. We and our partners use these technologies for the following purposes:
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through a cookie banner or the opt-out tools described in the Your Advertising & Tracking Choices section below. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
We use the information we collect to:
We use third-party analytics and advertising services to understand our audience and to promote our books. These partners use cookies, pixels, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on our Site and across other websites and apps over time, and to show you advertising that is relevant to you (often called interest-based, targeted, or cross-context behavioral advertising). Our key partners are described below; we may add others consistent with this Policy.
We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect and analyze information about how visitors use the Site. We may also enable Google Analytics Advertising Features, which can include Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, and integration with Google advertising products.
In connection with these features, we and third-party vendors (including Google) use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) or other first-party identifiers together with third-party cookies (such as Google advertising cookies) or other third-party identifiers to inform, optimize, and serve advertising based on your past visits to the Site. Google Analytics may also collect demographic and interest data from these advertising features. You can opt out as described in Your Advertising & Tracking Choices, including through Google’s Ads Settings, and you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
We use Google Ads, including its remarketing and audience features. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on websites and apps across the Internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and/or device identifiers to serve ads based on your past visits to our Site or your use of our content. You can opt out of Google’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings, and you can opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies through the opt-out tools listed below.
We use Meta Business Tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., including the Meta Pixel and related technologies, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, to build and target audiences, and to deliver ads to you on Facebook, Instagram, and the broader Meta network — including Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences, and remarketing/retargeting based on your activity on our Site. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies and similar technologies to collect or receive information from our Site and elsewhere, and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted advertising. Where we share information (such as a hashed email address) with Meta to build Custom Audiences, that data is transmitted using the matching method specified by Meta.
You can manage how your information is used for advertising through your Facebook Ad Preferences, Instagram settings, and the Activity off Meta Technologies / Off-Facebook Activity controls in your Meta account. See the Meta Privacy Policy for more information.
We may also work with other advertising networks, social media platforms, and measurement providers that operate similarly. These partners may set their own cookies and use their own identifiers in accordance with their privacy policies.
You have several ways to control interest-based advertising and tracking:
Because these opt-outs rely on cookies or device settings, they may not work across all browsers or devices, and you may need to renew them if you clear cookies. Opting out of interest-based ads does not mean you will stop seeing ads — only that they will be less tailored to you.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information in the following circumstances:
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising cookies and similar technologies for interest-based and cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, with Google and Meta) may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising,” under certain U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA). You have the right to opt out of this activity. To opt out, use the controls described in Your Advertising & Tracking Choices, enable a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (see below), or email us at hello@kingdomseedpublishing.com. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
If you subscribe to our newsletter or request a free gift, we use your email address (managed through Kit / ConvertKit) to send you the requested item and related communications about our books and resources. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by clicking that link or emailing us. We will still send you non-promotional messages necessary to respond to a request you make.
The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including Amazon (where our books are sold) and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with your information.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — for example, for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications — and thereafter as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the retention settings and policies of the relevant service providers.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Although we publish books written for children, this Site is intended for use by parents, guardians, educators, gift-givers, and other adults — not by children. The Site is directed to a general (adult) audience, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the applicable age in your jurisdiction) in violation of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or other children’s privacy laws.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@kingdomseedpublishing.com and we will promptly delete it. We ask that children do not submit any personal information to us.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights described below. To exercise any right, contact us at hello@kingdomseedpublishing.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected; know whether we disclose, “sell,” or “share” personal information and to whom; request deletion of your personal information; request correction of inaccurate personal information; opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may submit a request by emailing us, and you may use an authorized agent to act on your behalf. California’s “Shine the Light” law also lets California residents request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information; the right to data portability; and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal). We rely on the following legal bases to process your information: your consent (for example, for marketing emails and non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests (such as understanding and improving our Site and promoting our books, balanced against your rights); and compliance with legal obligations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid request to opt out of the “sale”/“sharing” of personal information for the browser or device from which it is sent.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will take additional steps to notify you where required by law. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, please contact us:
